There is a natural inclination for any seller to choose the agent who gives the highest valuation, but don’t fall into this common trap. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is. Experienced agents understand that buyers are demanding value for money and will not view properties that are overpriced.
Therefore, correct and realistic pricing is key to selling your property quickly but it’s important to be mindful that valuing property is not an exact science. Whilst you as the owner, along with the estate agent, may set the asking price, it is ultimately the buyer who determines the selling price.
